Oklahoma needs conservative representation. But voters don't owe blind loyalty to party-boss endorsements.
Though Ron Meinhardt is currently a member of the Oklahoma Republican Party, he is running as an Independent to provide Oklahoma a truly grassroots Conservative option on the November Ballot. Ron thinks it's time to restore Constitutional accountability, defend Oklahoma families, oppose "forever" wars, protect local consent, lower the cost of living, and give younger generations something better than debt, inflation, and broken promises.
The issues

No undeclared wars
Congress must authorize war.
No president — Republican or Democrat — should drag America into an actual open-ended war without a vote of the people’s representatives. Support our troops by refusing reckless conflict beyond the scope of the Constitution. Under current pale of law, that means demanding strict adherence to the War Powers Resolution of 1973.
Energy affordability
Oklahoma families feel energy prices immediately.
Affordable domestic energy is not just an industry issue. It affects groceries, transportation, utilities, jobs, family budgets, and the cost of nearly everything.
Healthcare reform
Healthcare should not bankrupt working families.
As a Registered Nurse, Ron understands healthcare from the inside. Reform should serve patients, nurses, providers, small businesses, and families — not giant corporate systems.
Immigration
Law, order, and a system that actually works.
Ron Meinhardt supports law and order — and that includes enforcing America’s immigration laws while radically improving them. For too long, immigration policy has been driven by executive action, selective enforcement, and inaction rather than clear laws passed by Congress.
Congress must step up with real solutions to mitigate the crisis created by open borders and the failure to enforce existing law. That means securing the border, streamlining deportation, and ensuring a process that is constitutional, enforceable, and accountable.
Many politicians chant “deport them all” but offer no realistic way to accomplish it under the current system. When slogans fail, those same politicians often grow frustrated and drift toward amnesty. Ron believes Oklahoma deserves better: serious laws, serious enforcement, and no political theater.
Protecting Children
Combating child trafficking, internet grooming, and institutional failure.
Behind every trafficking headline is a family fighting to be heard. Ron’s own family experience has shaped a serious commitment to protecting children, strengthening parental rights, and forcing institutions to take grooming and exploitation seriously.

Constitutional conservative
The Constitution is not optional.
If the federal government can ignore the Constitution on war, spending, executive power, surveillance, and debt, then ordinary citizens no longer have government by consent.
No data centers without consent
No massive projects affecting water, power, land, infrastructure, and quality of life should be forced into Oklahoma communities without informed local consent.
America First — not donor first
America First means protecting American citizens from elite capture — foreign and domestic. The Senate should serve the people, not powerful donor classes.
Fiscal responsibility for the young
Younger Oklahomans deserve opportunity, affordable homes, stable money, and a solvent future — not endless debt and inflation.
Follow the money
Special interests should not decide Oklahoma’s future.
Voters deserve to know who is funding political influence and what those interests expect in return. Ron is calling for transparency, accountability, and representation that belongs to the people.
